The objective of the publication of 'Samkalin Chintan' is to develop consciousness among the workers, farmers and other exploited and oppressed people against the dominance of indirect imperialist power and its indigenous political pillars (the big capitalist class, big bureaucrats, kulaks/rich farmers, feudal remnants and foreign funded NGOs) over our country and to inspire them in the direction of revolutionary liberation struggle. This magazine is the current continuation of the previously published magazines 'Dhruvatara' and 'Chintanshaili'.
The big capitalist class of our country played a leading role in the liberation struggle of the colonial period, which ended in a compromise and the country got partial independence. Today, the reins of the country are in the hands of the same compromised class and they are responsible for the destruction and devastation of the working and oppressed people in the last 75 years. Therefore, it is the historical responsibility of the working class to lead this new liberation struggle, and for that it will have to unite all the democratic forces standing against imperialism and its native allies.
Today's working class is not capable of shouldering this historical responsibility because its party (Communist Party) has become a victim of deviations and has been divided into many pieces. In such a situation, the working class is stuck in the quagmire of opportunism and it has become the biggest responsibility of the revolutionary powers to take them out of this quagmire and organize them as a revolutionary class.
'Samkalin Chintan' accepts both the above-mentioned responsibilities and appeals to all the intellectuals and workers working in this direction to join it.
